The album features a stellar lineup of collaborators, including Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, Conor Oberst, Christian Lee Hutson, and more.
Additional contributions come from notable artists like Nathaniel Walcott of Bright Eyes, Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Jenny Lee Lindberg of Warpaint.
Bridgers’ longtime bandmates Marshall Vore (drums), Harrison Whitford (guitar), Emily Retsas (bass), and Nick White (keys) also lend their talents, creating a cohesive and deeply atmospheric sound.
The album was mixed by Mike Mogis, who also mixed her debut Stranger in the Alps, further enhancing the record’s sonic texture. Punisher cements Bridgers’ place as one of the most insightful and poignant voices in indie music.
