Originally released in October 1993, 10000 Maniacs MTV Unplugged is the Maniacs’ most commercially successful album.
It features the band’s most beloved songs and is the final recording with lead singer Natalie Merchant before she began her solo career.
Now available for the first time on vinyl, this version comes as a 2xLP and CD with newly remastered sound and bonus tracks, including guest vocalist David Byrne.
The collection highlights acoustic renditions of songs from three of the band’s earlier albums: In My Tribe (1987), Blind Manโs Zoo (1989), and Our Time in Eden (1992).
Standout tracks include a cover of “Because The Night,” hits like โTrouble Me,โ โThese Are Days,โ and โCandy Everybody Wants,โ as well as fan favorites such as โHey Jack Kerouacโ and โLike The Weather.โ
