Lizzo acknowledged on the album preview celebration on the Loopy Ladies strip membership in Hollywood on January 30 that she has been engaged on the album for 3 years. She additionally previewed a collaboration with Missy Elliott titled “Tempo”. Together with the lead single “Juice”, the album contains the empowering dance monitor “Like a Lady” and a tune devoted to an ex titled “Jerome”.
