Duane & Greg Allman is an album credited to Duane and Gregg Allman, initially launched by Daring Data in Could 1972. The discharge is basically an album-length demo recording of the ‘thirty first of February’, a Tallahassee-based people rock band that includes drummer Butch Vehicles, bassist David Brown, and guitarist Scott Boyer. The ‘thirty first of February’ fashioned in 1965 and launched their first, self-titled album in 1968. This second recording, based on Vehicles, was meant to be their second album. It options Duane Allman on guitar and Gregg Allman on vocals. The 2 had been performing with the thirty first of February for a number of months.
It was recorded at TK Studios within the Miami suburb of Hialeah, Florida in September 1968. Steve Alaimo engineered the classes and later claimed producer’s credit score. The album is notable for the primary recording of “Melissa”, which was later re-recorded with the Allman Brothers Band.
