2013 debut album from the Indie trio.
Recorded over a interval of months at dwelling and in numerous areas round London, it was produced by guitarist Igor Haefeli with extra manufacturing from Rodhaidh McDonald and Jolyon Vaughan Thomas, and blended by Ken Thomas (Sigur Ros, M83) at Excessive Financial institution Studios.
Daughter are a London-based trio consisting of Elena Tonra (vocals, guitar), Igor and Remi Aguilella (percussion).
The band began life in 2010 as an outlet for Elena’s musings.
After recording a demos EP, Elena joined forces with Igor, then fellow classmates learning music in school.
A four-track EP, His Younger Coronary heart, was self launched in April 2011, and with Remi finishing the road up quickly after, the Wild Youth EP was launched in late 2011.
On the energy of those releases alone they’ve gained a loyal fan base which continues to develop as public and media alike uncover their charms.
