In Trance

IN TRANCE is the Scorpions’ third studio album and the primary album the band recorded along with producer Dieter Dierks, who later turned out to be a long-time companion of the Scorpions. The album was launched on 17 September 1975 and offered the band’s huge breakthrough in Japan. Apart from Klaus Meine, Uli Jon Roth will also be heard as a singer on the songs “Darkish Woman” and “Solar in My Hand”, which he wrote himself. Apart from the eponymous hit “In Trance”, the album accommodates “Evening Lights”, the band’s first purely instrumental piece composed by Uli Jon Roth. The legendary paintings of IN TRANCE was created by photographer Michael von Gimbut. IN TRANCE was remastered with particular sensitivity from the unique tapes and is now launched as a 180g 1LP, pressed on clear vinyl. Along with IN TRANCE, FLY TO THE RAINBOW, TOKYO TAPES, VIRGIN KILLER, HUMANITY (HOUR 1), SAVAGE AMUSEMENT, BLACKOUT, LOVEDRIVE, WORLD WIDE LIVE, TAKEN BY FORCE, ANIMAL MAGNETISM and LOVE AT FIRST STING may also be launched in new colored vinyl variations.
