Texas quintet Blue October fashioned throughout the post-grunge growth of the mid-’90s when vocalist/guitarist Justin Furstenfeld started penning angst-ridden rock songs with the assistance of his brother, drummer Jeremy Furstenfeld, and violinist Ryan Delahoussaye. Bassist Liz Mullaly accomplished the band’s preliminary lineup, and Blue October launched an impartial debut album, The Solutions, in 1998.
