Toy was recorded following David’s Glastonbury 2000 efficiency. Bowie entered the studio together with his band to file new interpretations of songs he’d first recorded from 1964-1971. The plan was to file the album “old style” with the band enjoying reside, select the perfect takes after which launch it as quickly as humanly attainable. Sadly, in 2001 the idea of the “shock drop” album launch and the expertise to help it had been nonetheless fairly a couple of years off, making it not possible to launch Toy on the time.
