The 2023 release of “Volcano” marks the next chapter for Jungle following their acclaimed album “Loving In Stereo.”

This record proved to be a milestone for the UK duo, achieving their highest domestic UK chart position at #3 and garnering their best-ever album chart positions internationally, including in Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands. In the US, it soared to #1 on the Billboard Dance Albums chart, propelling them to major arena shows as guests to Billie Eilish.

“Volcano” exudes a free-spirited energy that reflects its organic creation process.

Most of the album was written on tour, with J and T crafting songs while staying in an Airbnb in Los Angeles before completing the recording process at their favorite location, Studio B at Metropolis Studios in London.

For this album, Jungle aimed to incorporate a wider variety of voices, collaborating with artists such as Erick The Architect, Bas (who previously featured on the ‘Loving In Stereo’ single ‘Romeo’), Roots Manuva, Channel Tres, and JNR Williams. This diversity of talent adds depth and dimension to “Volcano,” further solidifying Jungle’s reputation as innovators in the contemporary music scene.
