Shaboozey, a multi-media artist, aims to create his own world in the Alt-Country / Hip-Hop space. His sound blends traditional Western influences like Bob Dylan, Lead Belly, Johnny Cash, and Leonard Cohen with future genre elements. Staying true to his Virginia roots, he wants to continue the region’s tradition of producing prolific creatives.
Shaboozey featured twice on Beyonce’s groundbreaking album, Cowboy Carter, and is now releasing his own album, Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going. This album includes singles “Let It Burn,” “Vegas,” “Anabelle,” and “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” With millions of streams and appearances on programs like COLORS and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Shaboozey is poised to become a new face of modern American country music.
