1964 US Albums In Mono
The Beatles
Release Date: November 22, 2024
In 1964, the United States experienced the full force of Beatlemania as The Beatles took the country by storm.
With an unprecedented run of albums and singles topping the charts, the band captivated millions of American fans.
However, the albums released in the U.S. were not simple replicas of the UK and international versions from Parlophone.
Instead, Capitol Records and United Artists compiled distinct versions of the albums for U.S. audiences, releasing them between January 1964 and March 1965.
To commemorate this pivotal year, a special 8LP vinyl box set has been created, featuring seven iconic Beatles albums from that era.
1964 US Albums In Mono include the following LPs:
- Meet The Beatles!
- The Beatles’ Second Album
- A Hard Day’s Night (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
- Something New
- The Beatles’ Story (2LP)
- Beatles ’65
- The Early Beatles
Each album features meticulously replicated artwork and new inserts with essays by American Beatles historian Bruce Spizer.
The vinyl lacquers were expertly cut by Kevin Reeves at Nashville’s East Iris Studios, with reference to the original pressings to ensure fidelity to the original sound.
Enhanced for modern audiophiles, the 180-gram audiophile pressings allow more musical detail to emerge than ever before.
The Beatles’ Story 2LP is exclusive to this set, making it a must-have for collectors.
